The Ink Progression System: Streaks, Mutations and Evolution

How Ink works on SquidX — earning it, spending it, mutation tiers, and how streaks compound into cosmetics that are actually yours.

Ink is the SquidX progression layer. It is earned by playing, not by paying, and it tracks the one thing a coinflip cannot fake: how long you've been in the water.

Earning Ink

Every settled flip awards Ink, scaled by wager. Win streaks multiply the award, and achievements — first flip, ten games, five in a row, a 5 SOL win — pay lump sums.

Mutations and evolution

Ink thresholds unlock mutation tiers: black, neon, golden and void. Each tier changes how your identity renders across the leaderboard and live feed.

Spending it

Ink buys cosmetics in the Ink market and fuels Ink Bombs, which cost 150 Ink and carry a 60-second cooldown so the feed stays readable.

Try a flip with no wager

Demo flips use the same 50/50 engine and show the same seed hash.
